Acorn House Drop-In Centre
Please Note the Drop-in will close on the 21st December at 1.30pm and will re-open on Monday 5th January 2010 at 9.30am.
Drop-In Times: Mondays
women only from 9.30am to 12.00pm
women and men welcome from 12.00pm to 1.30pm

Advisers can:
- give you advice on local employment opportunities, further education and training opportunities.
- book a 1-2-1 with you to give assistance with CVs, application forms and interview techniques.
We have a computerised Adult Guidance Package to help you find the job for you and a resource library with up-to-date information on career and training opportunities.
One-to-One appointments can be made with an adviser for a more in-depth interview at various locations.
This can include help with job applications/ CVs and interview techniques.
We are also a UK NARIC International Comparisons member. So if you have an overseas qualification, we can show you the UK qualification that it is equivalent to.

Outreach Locations
If you can't make the Monday drop-in or get to Central Milton Keynes.
We can make 1-2-1 appointments at many locations throughout Milton Keynes,
including Wolverton, Bletchley, Westcroft and Newport Pagnell.
Resources are limited at these locations but you can have an informal chat with an adviser.
Please ring the office to check availability and discuss your needs, so that appropriate resources can be made available.
Appointments are available at Acorn House for both Women and Men requiring assistance with Jobsearch Skills or Further Training. (no creche facilities). Please ring to book an appointment.

JobSearch Support Club
From the 28th of April we will be running a Job Search Support Club.
This will run from 9.30am until 1.30pm every Tuesday including during the Summer Holidays at Acorn House.
Clients will be able to use the internet for job search activities.
Advisers will be on hand to advise on on-line applications and other issues
around applying for jobs.
