TRAINING COURSE INFORMATION 2011

We run a range of FREE courses, mainly during term time and within school hours. Before acceptance on to one of these courses you must attend one of our advice and guidance sessions which will provide you with the opportunity to consider the various options available to you.

Interpersonal Skills Course
The Interpersonal Skills Course will help you to build confidence & self esteem. It will enable you to make changes to your behaviour to improve both working & personal relationships by handling and expressing feelings and opinions appropriately.

Successful Job Applications Course
This course is ideal for you if you are focused on your career path and need help with CVs, application forms, letters of application and interview techniques.

Business Start-Up, October 2011
This series of workshops covers all aspects of setting up a business such as setting up a website, keeping accounts and writing a business plan. It will be followed up with the opportunity to join a networking group for Women.

Computer Skills for Jobsearch
This course is ideal if you have limited computer skills. It is a short course to improve your confidence and skills unsing a computer, with particular focus on the skills needed for Jobsearch, e.g. typing up a CV.

Workshops
We will be running a small number of workshops here and at various locations throughout Milton Keynes. Topics will include Jobsearch Techniques and Confidence Building.
