Milton Keynes - Women Supporting Women
On the 13th March, 2009 over 50 influential women of Milton Keynes got together in celebration of
International Women'a Week to support Women and Work in launching our Women Supporting Women Programme.
As a result of the Symposium, we are taking forward two subjects: the Flexible Working Campaign to increase
the number of flexible working opportunities at all levels; Promotion and Mentoring aimed at supporting us
to further increase our profile and also to support our clients in their journey towards paid employment through mentoring.
We have subsequently run two further Symposiums, details of which will be on this page soon
- Launch of Women Supporting Women
- Flexible Working
- Promotion & Mentoring
- Press Releases
- Documents and Links
We held a Flexible Working Symposium in May chaired by Liz Gifford of MK Economy and Learning Partnership.
Exploring various aspects and the pros and cons of flexible working for business
the attendees developed an action plan to take forward the campaign. Click here to see the event summary.
